Hybrid Medical Assistant Program

Designed to let you complete your assignments on your time, PCI’s online Hybrid Medical Assistant Program has a limited on-campus commitment – just two days a week. It’s designed to teach you the skills you need to enter the medical field. Upon completing this program, you’ll be qualified for a job as a:

Our Curriculum

This Hybrid Medical Assistant Program combines lectures with practical medical and computer lab exercises.

Hybrid Training

Allowing you to complete your assignments on your time, the online portion of this program provides training in a number of specialties, including Electronic Health Records, front office skills, phlebotomy and pharmacology.

Lab Training

You’re only required to be on campus twice weekly. You’ll attend one day of lecture and one day of lab training learning to perform injections, phlebotomy, EKG, urinalysis, microscopy, autoclaving, and other vital clinical skills.

Real-world Externship

To ensure you enter your career with confidence, this program includes a 200-hour externship, in which you’ll gain hands-on experience.

Career Outlook

The need for qualified medical assistants is on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, positions are expected to grow by 23% from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations. This growth is fueled by an aging population and an increased demand for preventative medical services.
