Medical Assistant Program

Start a career making a difference. Medical Assistants play a vital role in the healthcare community, offering a variety of support services to doctors and nurses. PCI’s Medical Assistant program is designed to help you get trained for this essential role in as little as nine months. Upon completing this course of studies, you’ll be qualified for a job as a:

Our Curriculum

This program combines lectures with practical medical and computer lab exercises.

Classroom Training

Our expert instructors will teach you a variety of skills you’ll need throughout your career, including Electronic Health Records, front office skills, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and first aid and CPR.

Lab Training

Get hands-on experience in things like performing injections, phlebotomy, EKG, urinalysis, microscopy and autoclaving.

Real-world Externship

To ensure you enter your career with confidence, this program includes a 200-hour externship, in which you’ll gain experience performing your job.

Career Outlook

The need for qualified medical assistants is on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, positions are expected to grow by 23% from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations. This growth is fueled by an aging population and an increased demand for preventative medical services.
