Hybrid Medical Assistant Program

Our Hybrid Medical Assistant Program offers most of the courses online so you can study on your time. You’ll learn clinical and administrative skills, allowing you to work in a number of roles, including Medical Administrative Office Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Clinical Technical Assistant, Medical Office Manager, Phlebotomist and Physical Therapy Aide. Best of all, you can complete your training in as little as nine months.

On-campus Medical Assistant Program

If you’re looking for a more traditional education experience, PCI’s on-campus Medical Assistant Program allows you to prepare for an in-demand medical support job in as little as nine months. You’ll get hands-on experience in a number of important clinical and administrative skills, including checking vital signs, assisting with physical exams, scheduling appointments and performing basic lab tests.

Medical Office Assistant Program

In as little as six months, you can become a vital part of any physician’s office. PCI’s Medical Office Assistant training program offers comprehensive training to prepare you for a front office role in a doctor’s practice. Upon completion, you’ll be qualified to work in roles like Medical Front Office Assistant, Medical Office Manager, Insurance Processor, Billing and Collections and Support Specialist.

Available at our Richardson, TX location, PCI’s Dental Assistant Program can prepare you for a career in as little as nine months. You’ll learn a variety of in-demand skills, including performing X-rays, assisting with dental procedures, conducting administrative tasks with dental software and scheduling and coordinating appointments.

Career Outlook

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for Medical Assistants is expected to grow by 12%, which is much faster than the average for all jobs. The need for Medical Assistants is expected to create 112,300 new jobs between 2024 and 2034.*

There will be 52,900 new Dental Assistant jobs created between 2024 and 2034, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This correlates to a 6% growth, which is higher than the average for all jobs.*
